What are the special features of a virtual OTWorld.connect?

A virtual event will take place without physical attendance at an event location. Participants follow the event online, i.e. from the comfort of their home or workplace.

Can I, as a participant, also come to the exhibition centre in Leipzig and follow the virtual event there?

No. Unfortunately, participation at the exhibition centre in Leipzig is not possible this year.

Will there also be a kick-off event? How can I participate?

Yes, there will be a virtual opening on 27 October, held 8:30 to 9:00 am (GMT). The celebration will be broadcast and can be followed live by the participants.

Should I still register for OTWorld.connect if I live in a time zone, which does not allow me to participate in the live sessions?

Yes, you may still want to register for OTWorld.connect. The innovation showrooms can be accessed 24 hours on 27-29 October and in addition you will have access at your leisure for 90 days after the event.

If you purchase a full congress ticket, the recorded presentations will be available to you for on-demand access from 9 November 2020 to 31 January 2021. Therefore, you will be able to watch the recordings at your convenience.
